Haiti Global Leadership Summit 2008

In November of 2007, Community Covenant Church, in conjunction with the Willow Creek Association, assisted the Haitian community in hosting the first annual Willow Creek Association – Global Leadership Summit in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
	Our goal is to bring sound leadership principles to the Haitian Church, Business and Government leaders through an intensive, two day training conference. The speakers are the same as those presented during the Leadership Summit hosted by the Willow Creek Association and broadcast via satellite throughout the United States and Canada each August.
Some of the speakers in 2007 were US Secretary of State Colin Powell, US President Jimmy Carter, Carley Fiorina, a past CEO of the Hewlett Packard Corp., and Marckus Buckingham, recognized worldwide for leadership training.
The Haiti Global Leadership Summit Team is committed to training Haitian leaders within their local context. Our hope is to expand this effort into other leadership training events that will help equip Haitian leaders to more effectively lead as they work to bring solutions to their country.
